Just in case you've forgotten, here are a few reminders -
- We are in WEEK 8! This means that you need to start turning in any redo/missing assignments that you have. Check your Edmodo for your current grades. I will only accept late work until next TUESDAY, MARCH 15.
- San Diego Zoo field trip is scheduled for Tuesday, March 15. If you haven't signed up yet, talk to Ms. S.
- Running Club starts Friday! Remind Ms. S to start sending home permission slips!

Assignment -
- Copy the synonyms for each of your vocab words -
* Conduct (noun) - Behavior, demeanor, carry
* Conduct (verb) - Actions, deeds, manners
* Element (noun) - Part, component, building block
- Find an image that depicts EACH of your vocabulary words.
- Write a sentence that describes how your image represents your vocab word.

The last day to turn in any missing/redo work is TUESDAY, MARCH 15. That's only one week from today to turn your grades around.

In Microsoft Word, create a timeline of the following events. You will be adding more events as we continue to watch the PBS series, Eyes on the Prize.
For today, the events you need to include are (Episode 2):
· Brown v. Board of Education
· Central High School admits its first 9 black students
o Who are the 9? What are they referred to?
o How were they received?
· First black student graduates from Central High
o Who?
o How did people react?
· James Meredith registers at the University of Mississippi & riots enuse
o Why?
o What happened?
