Hello! Happy Tuesday. I hope things went smoothly for all of you yesterday. I know there was probably a bit of a rush to get computer assignments completed in the morning so I will post them again today. But this means you have to get yesterdays and today's assignments done for vocabulary and English/Language Arts PLATO.

1) Vocabulary -
In your blogs, complete the following assignment:
Blog Title - Week 2 Synonyms, Images, and Sentences
Assignment -
* Copy the following synonyms for each of your vocabulary words:
Source (noun) - Basis, foundation, cause
Complex (adj) - Multifaceted, compound, composite, multipart, difficult
Complex (noun) - Development, center, multiplex, multiuse building
Complex (noun) - Hang-up, fixation, neurosis, obsession
Relevant (adj) - Pertinent, applicable, related, appropriate, significant
* Find an image for each DEFINITION of your vocabulary words (this means you'll have five total images because complex has three different definitions)
* Write a sentence for each image that describes how your image matches your vocabulary word

YESTERDAY'S VOCABULARY ASSIGNMENT (in case you missed it):
In your blogs, complete the following assignment -
Blog Title - Week 2 Vocabulary Definitions and Examples
Your vocab words for the week are: Source (noun), Complex (adj, noun) and Relevant (adj)
Assignment -
Look up the definitions for each word. Remember, for complex you'll need a definition for the word as a noun and as an adjective.
Copy the following example sentences:
Source (noun) - A bibliography lists all the sources you used for your paper.
Complex (adj) - The math test was complex due to all the negative exponents.
Complex (noun) - My sister manages an apartment complex in Seattle.
Relevant (adj) - Math will be relevant in your lives when you are trying to fill out your tax returns.

2) PLATO - English/Language Arts

Assignment: Reading Between the Lines in Stories
Complete & print mastery test

YESTERDAY'S PLATO -
Go to: English Language Arts Reading Comprehension
Assignment: Finding What's Important in Information
Complete mastery test - requires Julianna's signature.

3) A few important notes -
**Check redo folders/grades to see if you have missing/redo work
**If you were absent yesterday, read Chapter 5 in Frankenstein
**Lunch bag presentations are today - make sure your presentation is ready to go!
