Hello my favorite students! I am, obviously, not here today. Sorry, but I have some meetings that I have to go to....

Here is your agenda for the day -

Vocabulary - Week 2 Definitions & Examples
PLATO - Finding What's Important in Information
*Turn in all computers before Julianna goes to class. No laptops may be used without Julianna's supervision*

Character Details worksheet & Chapter 5 Reading Questions
Active Reading chart on character details
Math - (No math PLATO today)
Chapter 7-8 Practice B
Chapter 7-4 Reteach
Biology - Page 354 Who Controls your DNA?
Answer the Research & Decide questions. Each answer (there are only 3 questions) must be a minimum of 5 sentences.
Social Studies -
If you do WORLD History, Chapter 15, Section 1 Section Assessment #1-5, skip 3
If you do US History, Chapter 15, Section 1 Section Assessment #1-5

As you come in, complete your two laptop assignments. Remember, once Julianna isn't here - YOU MAY NOT USE LAPTOPS.

1) Vocabulary -
In your blogs, complete the following assignment -
Blog Title - Week 2 Vocabulary Definitions and Examples
Your vocab words for the week are: Source (noun), Complex (adj, noun) and Relevant (adj)
Assignment -
Look up the definitions for each word. Remember, for complex you'll need a definition for the word as a noun and as an adjective.
Copy the following example sentences:
Source (noun) - A bibliography lists all the sources you used for your paper.
Complex (adj) - The math test was complex due to all the negative exponents.
Complex (noun) - My sister manages an apartment complex in Seattle.
Relevant (adj) - Math will be relevant in your lives when you are trying to fill out your tax returns.


2) PLATO - English/Language Arts
