Happy Monday! We are already half way through the quarter - it's week 5!
A few important notes:
- We are half way through the quarter. If you are trying to return to regular school by July, you need to make sure you are completing your extra credits at home and turning them into me and Julianna.
Here are your assignments as you come in:
1) Vocabulary.
Your week 5 vocabulary words are:
Apply (verb)
Labor (noun, verb)
Contract (noun, verb)
Complete the following assignment in your blogs:
BLOG TITLE - Week 5 Vocabulary Definitions & Examples
ASSIGNMENT -
** Find the definitions for each of your vocabulary words. You need to find the definition for the word as both a noun and verb.
** Copy the following example sentences:
Apply - You should apply for a part-time job so that you can earn spending money and a sense of responsibility.
Labor - My sister-in-law went into labor last night.
Contract - If you leave school for more than five days, you need to sign a work contract to complete missing work.
2) PLATO - English/Language Arts
Go to - Written & Oral Conventions
Assignment - Using the -ly form of modifiers
3) Complete the Edmodo polls - one about returning to the district and one about a reward day after testing.
You will have until 8:30-8:45 to complete your assignments before we begin our career class.
