Happy Monday! We are already half way through the quarter - it's week 5!

A few important notes:
- We are half way through the quarter. If you are trying to return to regular school by July, you need to make sure you are completing your extra credits at home and turning them into me and Julianna.

Here are your assignments as you come in:

It's finally Friday! I am so excited to see all of you dressed up and ready to interview!

A final few tips for your interviews:
- BREATHE! Take a deep breath and calm down. You'll be fine.
- Remember to keep your hands in your lap.
- Use the question as part of your answer. "I believe I have shown responsibility when...."
- Give examples. Use stories. Expand your answers.
- For question 5 when you are asked if there is anything else you'd like to add, ADD SOMETHING!
- Remember - you all have tech skills. You use Microsoft Word, blogger, animoto, edmodo, glogster, prezi, PowerPoint....
- For question 6 when you are asked if you have any questions, ASK A QUESTION! Questions to ask could include: the age range of students you'll be working with, how many students you'll be working with (small/large groups), morning or afternoon schedule....
- ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS use complete sentences!

Happy Wednesday! It's EARLY RELEASE TODAY!!! I would like to excuse everyone at 12noon today, so let's make sure we are on task and getting all our work turned in! You know that you can't go home until your work is done... :)

- Friday is mock interview day. Don't froget that you have to dress up. If you skip Friday, you will have an alternate assignment to make up the points for the day. Seriously.

Tomorrow we will have a presentation by Ken Msejami. He started the Domestic Workers Union and worked with Caesar Chavez. He now works with Sheet Metal Workers. He knows a lot about different tradies of field that don't necessarily require college degrees - construction, plubming, electrical, etc.

Write FIVE (5) QUESTIONS to ask him.

Happy Monday! I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend. We are already in WEEK 4 of fourth quarter!

As you come into school, a few quick notes:
- TOMORROW IS KAYAKING. If your name is on the kayaking list for tomorrow, you need to arrive at school no later than 9AM. I suggest bringing a towel, extra clothes/layers, and NOT bringing anything you don't want to get wet (ipods, phones, etc). We should be home no later than 1:00PM.
- If you are NOT GOING kayaking tomorrow, you need to complete your assignment BEFORE YOU GO HOME TODAY.
- Friday is mock interview day. You must dress up! And your attendance is oh-so-mandatory!
- If you are doing electives outside of class, you should be roughly half way done with what I assigned you. If I told you to create a blog for an assignment, I need that URL on my Edmodo so that I can grading your work.

A few important notes:

- There is a student leadership meeting today. Alexandria is our normal class representative. Who would like to go today? It's fun. You get lunch, you hang out with the principal, you miss school.....but we have to call your parent first so let us know right now.

- SDSU field trip on Friday. We have to be there by 8:45 so we are leaving at 8:15. That means be at school no later than 8AM! This field trip is MANDATORY = you have to go!

Remember that at 9:00AM today, we have our FBI presentation. Each of you will need to circle your favorite question that you created yesterday in order to ask the presenter at the end of her discussion. Tomorrow is KAYAKING. If you are going kayaking tomorrow, you may not leave today until we have spoken with your parent/guardian and have permission for you to go.
