Happy Tuesday! Today is a busy, busy day....so get ready!
A few quick notes:
- We are beginning our new round of Sex-Ed today. All of you are participating. It will begin at 1:30 so that means you need to complete your independent assignments before 1:30. Computers must be turned in by that time.
- Tomorrow is PACKET DAY! That means that you must turn in your history AND your packet before you're allowed to go home today. I want you to go home on time, so use your time wisely right now!
Alright, so as you come in, here are your assignments:
1) First things first. If you have not yet added the WINTER QUARTER courses of US History, World History, and Language Arts - do so now!
2) Vocabulary - For your vocabulary, you need to HAVE YOUR VOKI say the synonyms for you on your blog. Go to voki. Sign in. Type in the synonyms for each word. Get the link and paste it in your blog.
The synonyms for each of your words are:
- Issue - Subject, question, topic, concern, problem
- Evidence - proof, confirmation, facts, data, support
- Summarize - recap, go over, condense, sum up
You also need to find an IMAGE for each of your vocabulary words. WRITE A SENTENCE that explains why you choose that image to represent your vocabulary word.
3) Social Studies - Go to Edmodo. Find your new Nazi leader to research. Use the sites I gave you. Download the questions. Answer them. Submit them back to me on Edmodo. You rock as a student. Today you are learning about the man below - Heinrich Himmer. He was in charge of the SS.
