Good afternoon! As you come in, please complete the following:
(If you thought yesterday was a no-school day, you were sadly mistaken. Now you need to make up the work you missed!)
1) If you have not created your gmail, your edmodo account, or your blog - do this immediately! Once you have done so, make sure you have turned in your blog URL to me on the edmodo site, as well as your other assignments that have been submitted online.
2) Vocabulary - Your three vocabulary words for the week are: Previous, Alternative, and Strategy
IN YOUR BLOG, YOU NEED TO DO THE FOLLOWING:
- Copy the synonyms for each word:
Previous - preceding, earlier, prior, before
Alternative - other, another, substitute, option, choice
Strategy - plan, policy
- You must also FIND AN IMAGE for each word. You also need to WRITE A SENTENCE describes the image you have chosen and explain why it illustrates your vocab word.
3) Social Studies- Complete the following assignments from your textbook. This can be done on paper and does not have to be submitted online.
US History - Chapter 11, Section 2 #1-5 (for #2, choose any 2)
World History - Chapter 11, Section 2 #1-6 (for #2, choose any 2, skip #3)
