First things first, if you do not yet have a gmail account, an edmodo account, or a blog - you need to set it all up today before you go home!
Otherwise, here are your assignments:
1) Vocabulary -For your vocabulary, you need to POST YOUR RESPONSE IN YOUR BLOG! The blog title will be Week 8 Vocabulary Paragraph. Your paragraph needs to use all three vocabulary words in a cohesive paragraph: Role, Category, and Consume. I want you to write your paragraph in response to the following quote. Your response can be what you think the quote means, a summary, or anything you think is connected.
The quote is from a Japanese-American who was in an internment camp during World War II.
" We saw all these people behind the fence, looking out, hanging onto the wire, and looking out because they were anxious to know who was coming in. But I will never forget the shocking feeling that human beings were behind this fence like animals [crying]. And we were going to also lose our freedom and walk inside of that gate and find ourselves…cooped up there…when the gates were shut, we knew that we had lost something that was very precious; that we were no longer free."- Mary Tsukamoto
2) Social Studies - Go to the following link and complete the graphic organizer.

The link and the graphic organizer that you need to complete are on the EDMODO SITE. Go there! For today, you may either print and complete the worksheet or submit it online. If you print the assignment, you still have to turn in the assignment on edmodo with a line that says "turned in paper copy."
