Good afternoon!

Here are your assignments as you come into class:

1) If you have not yet created your gmail, edmodo, or blog - you need to do so! This will become even more of a routine in our class next week when the new quarter begins.

2) Vocabulary - This week's vocabulary words are:

- Consent (verb & noun)
Ex: You have to have parental consent in order to watch an R-rated movie.
- Emphasis (noun) to emphasize the importance of exercise as part of maintaining good health.
Ex: The doctor wanted
- Criteria (noun)
Ex: Did you make sure your project met the necessary criteria to earn a good grade?

In your blog, you need to:
- Find the definitions for each word & PUT THEM IN YOUR OWN WORDS
- Copy the same sentences for each word

3) REDO/MAKE-UP WORK - The last day to turn in any redo/missing work is tomorrow. Your history grades have been updated on Edmodo. EVERYTHING for history and biology classes has been graded - ask Ms. S for your print out of missing work. TWO REDO/MISSING ASSIGNMENTS MUST BE TURNED IN BEFORE YOU GO HOME TODAY.
