As you come in, here are your warm-up Language Arts assignments. You will have approximatley 20-25 minutes to complete BOTH assignments before we move on to Romeo & Juliet (block 1) or Julius Caesar (block 2).
1) Vocabulary -
Your vocabulary words for week 1 are:
Proportion (verb, noun)
Register (verb, noun)
Scheme (verb, noun)
In your blogs, complete the following assignment -
Blog Title: Week 1 Vocabulary Synonyms, Images, and Sentences
Assignment:
*** Copy the following synonyms for each of your vocabulary words.
Proportion - Fraction, amount, quantity, share
Scheme - Plan, plot, design, idea
Register - Record, schedule, inventory
*** Find an image that represents EACH of your vocabulary words.
*** Write a sentence that explains how each image represents your word.
2) PLATO - Language Arts
IMPORTANT NOTE - There is now just a class called Language Arts. Be sure you are completing assignments from this section.
